OUTreach:
Pro Bono Community Resources
OUTlaws, the Jim Toy Community Center, Legal Services of South Central Michigan, and local volunteer attorneys operate a pro bono clinic that serves that greater Ann Arbor LGBTQ+ community.
Students work with clients on issues such as name and gender marker changes on drivers licenses, divorce, adoption, child custody, birth certificate amendments, trans/non-binary safety, and expungements. Additionally, student attorneys will create educational materials to inform LGBTQ+ people of their rights in areas of particular concern.
We currently have weekly office hours from 6-8 pm on Wednesdays. Please reach out to us to find out more about how to get involved!
