Learn More About OUTlaws

OUTlaws is Michigan Law's LGBTQ+ student organization. We are an inclusive community of lesbian, gay, trans*, bi, queer and allied students at Michigan Law School. OUTlaws is a social and political student group providing educational programs and social events to serve LGBTQ+ students and allies at MLaw and the wider university. OUTlaws is also an active part of local, state-wide, and national advocacy efforts impacting the LGBTQ+ community. We organize a wide array of relevant programs addressing issues of critical importance to our community and help connect LGBTQ+ MLaw students with LGBTQ+ leaders and opportunities across the legal profession.

Everyone - of all sexual orientations and gender identities - is welcome in the OUTlaws community. Whether you are just asking questions, interested in learning more about LGBTQ+ issues, new to the LGBTQ+ community, or a community vet - OUTlaws is for you. Please do not hesitate to contact a member of the board to learn more or ask questions. We're looking forward to meeting you!
